Each winter the Metrology School Staff members and their families would gather at an upscale hotel’s ballroom (Aurora’s
DoubleTree Hotel was a prime location) until the number of attendees dwindled to where they would gather at a nice local
restaurant, renting their “meeting” room.

Each month, with the exception of December in deference to
the annual Winter Reunion, those associated with Lowry AFB’s
Metrology School continue to gather at a local pub (Sunset
Lounge, Loading Doc, Fat Boys) to catch up on the latest news,
swap war stories, while chowing down on some great food.
Once there would have been several dozen in attendance, now
just a few continue to make muster.
